As part of being an inviting parish, we are planning to do "15 hours of Ashes" again this year on Ash Wednesday. This is a program where the church is open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm for the distribution of ashes. We will have the three Masses at 7:00 am, 8:40 am and 7:00 pm and a special prayer service at 12:00 noon. In addition during the other times of the day we will have ministers available to distribute ashes to anyone who walks through the door. There will be an information table with volunteers and a priest will be available if anyone needs confession or someone to talk to. We are hoping to make Ash Wednesday a meaningful beginning to Lent this year for all the members of the parish and anyone else in community.
