St. Benedict Church has several vibrant music ministries, including a traditional choir, contemporary ensemble, young adult choir, funeral choir, and children’s choir.
If you play an instrument or sing, please consider sharing your talent with our church and help lead others to a deeper encounter with God!
The 10 AM Choir sings at the 10 AM Sunday Mass from September to June, as well as during Christmas and Holy Week. This is a traditional, four-part choir which sings music for Mass as well as during special concerts and services throughout the year. The choir is open to all! Music reading ability and previous choral experience are helpful but not required. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays at 7 PM in the Church.
Cantate Omnes is a choir and music ensemble formed in 2018 which is sponsored by St. Benedict Parish. Our musicians are young adults actively involved in our WNY community as Church musicians, music educators, and professional musicians. Cantate Omnes is Latin for “Let us all sing!” They hold concerts throughout WNY which aim to bring faith and music together in new and exciting ways.
The Funeral Choir helps support our parishioners during their time of loss by singing at funeral Masses.
The St. Benedict School Chorus leads music for the 10 AM Sunday Mass once a month. All children from elementary to middle school ages are welcome to join this group.
